Course expectations:

Students must come to class with an open mind and ready to work. Respect, Honesty, Cooperation and Effort are expected of all students, and are part of the final grade. Any student CAN and WILL succeed if he/she decides to do so. Students ought to understand that making mistakes is part of the learning process and that taking “risks” is encouraged in this class (one learns from his/her and others’ mistakes!). In order to succeed the student must:

  1. Come to class on time
  2. Be prepared to work with appropriate material (binder pen or pencil)
  3. Follow class rules
  4. Do all the assigned work
  5. Turn in homework on time
  6. Participate actively to class activities using SPANISH. (oral self-evaluation)
  7. Respect self, fellow students, teacher and school property
  8. LISTEN TO WHAT FELLOW STUDENTS SAY, EXPLAIN OR ASK
  9. Work cooperatively and help others
  10. Be a self-advocate. Use on line tools, come to tutoring and ask for help.
  11. TUTORING : Thursdays from 3:45 - 5:00
