| Evaluation
and Grading Process
- Students receive
a Grade for Learning Process and another for Mastery of Course Content.
- Students are tested
on a regular basis in a variety of formats after each Lesson and/or
major Grammar Rule and Unit.
- Notes are very
important and will sometimes be used during tests.
- Vocabulary spelling
is tested with written and oral exercises.
- Listening Skills
are tested with Audio Activities and Class Oral Participation . Class
oral or written projects are done individually and in groups.
- There is a final
exam at the end of each semester.
Learning
Process 20%
Readiness
for Learning and Homework Effort...... 10%
1. The student arrives to class on time, organized and with appropriate
materials for work.
2. Homework is complete and handed in on time (Date in Spanish)
Class
Participation and Citizenship ........10%
1. The student follows classroom policies, contributes positively to learning
environment, and does not distract others.
2. The student contributes positively to class activities and discussions,
listens well, stays on task, and works well both independently and in
groups.
Mastery
of Course Content 80%
Class
Work and Quality of Homework _______15%
Includes:
1. Most written work done in class
2. Homework Assignments (writing, grammar exercise and ON LINE work)
3. Homework assignments will be checked for accuracy by the teacher or
collectively in class. The date must be written in Spanish. (day/month/year)
Speaking
and Listening skills_______15%
Includes:
1. Listening Activities.
2. Class Oral Interaction, Dialog Presentations and Oral Tests. (EUROS)
